Welcome

Welcome the our church!  You have found the website of First Christian Church in Vincennes, Indiana.  My name is Peter Haskins and I am the Senior Minister.  First Christian Church is a proud member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  We are here to offer you something: a church family.  I want to invite you to be a part of our vibrant, growing church family here at First Christian Church located at 319 Broadway in historic downtown Vincennes.

First Christian is a safe place for you to grow in your relationship with God.  First Christian is a safe place for your family and kids to grow in their relationship with God.  First Christian is a safe place to belong in an oftentimes chaotic and confusing world we live in today.  We offer:

    *an open communion table, which means anyone can take communion with us, just as you are!

    *a relaxed, traditional worship style that lets you just come to church and worship, just worship...

    *an incredible music ministry led by Trevor Murry, which seeks to enhance our worship experience.

    *a safe and close-knit children and youth ministry led by Shelby Smith and Aaron Luce.

    *an amazing pre-school at the Washington Christian Center...

    *many, many opportunities for you to serve God's creation (which you can explore on our website)...

Our worship time is 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings...dress is casual, just come as you are...you are already a part of our church family...
